One of my favorite subjects, besides people, is the simple details of a new place ... the unique landscapes, architecture, local color that make that place different from home and my usual surroundings. It also helps me appreciate and love even more the things I come home to. I always enjoy travel and experiencing new things, new places .... meeting new people.

In between some snowboarding and hiking, my brother and I took time to stroll the streets of old Santa Fe. There is definitely a consistent palette of colors and textures thru-out the town with a focus on arts and nature ... the southwest, desert kind.
