Until tonight, I haven't been outside much--and that's a big deal when it's perfect weather in Texas. After work, Taylor and I went for walk in our neighborhood park ... we were only gone for about 30 minutes, but it was just what I needed. As we walked out of the house, Taylor gave me permission to shoot one, only one picture of her ... I took a few more, but she didn't seem to mind or even notice.

Here's to the first annual "bro-cation," where the brothers Crofts venture west to explore a little place called New Mexico, just north of Mexico, slightly west of Texas. We kept it simple ... a little snowboarding, a little March Madness, and a bit of Native American cliff dwelling explorations. After our first day of bluebird up at Ski Santa Fe, we visited the mighty downtown of Santa Fe. On day two we went up to Bandelier National Park to see some cool sights--and no sounds (except for a little creek rolling though the forest, next to our trail). It was a fun adventure ... many more to come.

It's spring break and our poor girls have been sick all week--including Rachel. They had plans to do anything and everything north Dallas has to offer while I had a busy week at work. Since everyone seems to be on the mend, we went into town to Watters Creek for "Live on the Green" and listened to an eighties cover band. It was about 65 degrees and was exactly what we needed and here's to a bit of sun flare ...

Ah Sundance ... we love this place. Rachel and I just got back from our annual ski trip and enjoyed every bit of it. In between all the skiing, laughing with friends, and eating, I had the opportunity to shoot Amy and Beau's engagement photos. They are an awesome couple and we're all excited to see them married this May ... welcome to the family Amy! Here are a few from our session ...

Last fall we went east to Atlanta to have Thanksgiving at Rachel's parents ... before the big meal, we did a quick photo session. 2 families in about 20 minutes to be exact. Here are a few from the session ... I finally had some time to edit and post. It's amazing how much you can get done inside when it's freezing, wintery weather outside. We've seen to many days in the teens here in Dallas this year.
