It's already getting humid here in Texas ... luckily the kiddos don't sweat as bad as I do while working hard behind the lens. Meet the Pierce kids ... they were good sports--especially the twin boys. I can't blame them for not wanting to sit still for me and the camera. Here's a few from the session ...

I had a great time with the Tucker family ... all seven of them :) I always enjoy shooting something new ... this time it was a recent graduate and her family. Julie graduated with her masters from SMU, in education. Being a full-time mother of five and a full-time student is definitely worth celebrating--something for the whole family to be proud of. Of course, being an SMU grad myself, I enjoyed visiting the awesome campus in the middle of Highland Park, bringing back some great memories.

Last fall we went east to Atlanta to have Thanksgiving at Rachel's parents ... before the big meal, we did a quick photo session. 2 families in about 20 minutes to be exact. Here are a few from the session ... I finally had some time to edit and post. It's amazing how much you can get done inside when it's freezing, wintery weather outside. We've seen to many days in the teens here in Dallas this year.

It was my pleasure to shoot the Bass Family last month... and I'm not just
saying that-we really had a fun time walking through a nearby park
(right behind our house) and got some fun images. The best portraits
are when the client can simply relax, enjoy themselves and their
surroundings, and act natural. I also realized how early I need to
start afternoon shoots ... we were starting to lose light at 4:30.

Hey there. I love looking at your photos! You do such a beautiful job. I am interested in photography and have been taking a few workshops. Would it be possible to follow you around one day on a local photo shoot. I would love to learn more. Where do you go to photograph families and kids?
