h2c_01a.jpgOn the left, a little bit of Hood ... on the right, a little bit of coast, or Seaside.  This past year was my sixth or seventh time to run the 197-mile relay race (I took last year off ... it was good to be back).  As others have said, I need Hood to Coast ... even more, I need the N.A.D.S.  It's always the best of times linking back up for our one-and-only race every year--especially with the rest of the N.A.D.S' executive team, Head NAD and #2.  This year's Hood to Coast, a road trip, a party, and a race (in that order) once again lived up to it's expectation and the N.A.D.S. delivered, as always.

On our way out, we got to spend some time in Seattle ... I love to visit.  Growing up in the suburbs of Seattle we only occasionally made it out to Pike Place and the city.  Always a colorful, lively place.

I had a great time this past weekend photographing Bill and his two sons. We moved through the shoot pretty quick trying to beat the heat. We wanted to keep it simple ... get a few portraits and then capture the boys doing what the do best ... playing with dad! Despite 90 degrees at 9 AM, we had a lot of fun.

A beautiful wedding with a beautiful couple ... congrats to Lynette and Richard. We had a fun time shooting this wedding and reception in their new backyard. There was a lot of love between family, friends, and the newly weds ... an enjoyable night for all.

Lindsey:

This is the cutest wedding ever! It looks fancy and super relaxed at the same time. I kept expecting a picture of a banjo player or something. They have to be thrilled with the way you captured their moment.

A few more images from our trip to Utah. During our busy week there, we had two weddings to attend ... Rachel's sister Julie (whose wedding you've now seen) and her brother Beau. Beau and Amy went first, on Wednesday in Salt Lake City. It was a beautiful wedding among a lot of family and friends. Congrats Beau and Amy ... by now you're well on your way. It was also fun to relax and be just another guy with a camera ... taking a few candids here and there.

Excited to share my first wedding shoot ... Julie & Seth it was great to be part of their day. We drove down from Park City noting what a perfect day it was ... 70 degrees, blue skies, slight breeze. Two hours later, not such a breeze. While taking pictures around the temple, we braced ourselves while being hit with 50 mph wind gusts. It made for a memorable event and some funny pictures we may never post :)  Speaking of pictures ... click on link below to see more of their day and our trip to Utah.
